What people are watching:
-I enjoy any program that highlights local art, music video and live
musical performances
-I watch FSTV, Art Matters, and politics
-I watch Tingle TV or anything I happen to catch
-I watch Norra Gente, SCAT Loop Tape, Democracy Now
-I watch the Portuguese shows and stuff about Somerville Youth
-I enjoy watching wrestling shows, music shows and stuff by kids

General Comments

-SCAT programming is plenty diverse, station wins awards, good job
-I haven’t gotten an email update in a while
-Scat and Channel 3 has been an incredible launching platform for my
artistic projects
-I look forward to hearing the answers of others to the question of
how we can better inform Somerville residents about opportunities at
SCAT
-As a member of the board I understand classes continue to fill but
I am not up to date on skills required
-None of the classes SCAT offers are good

-I use the web to check on TV shows
-Programming page needs to be cleaned
-Offer website links on storyboarding, tip of the day, editing

-Offer free home movies to DVD transfer if broadcasted
-Demystify the process, show someone joining

Equipment/Facilities
-I would be thrilled if the 24p technology replaced the Sony
-Audio equipment not good for JoJo’s Dreamcart
-SCAT needs better CG software
-Portable equipment, dead batteries, broken tripod, bad camera
-Wish HOTSET show went on without difficulty, but mostly my fault
-Facilities used to be neater, the cabinet and set pieces sometimes
disorganized, overall in good shape
-Replace speakers in the studio
-Studio needs more lighting equipment, a black wood floor
-I own editing software but need access on rare occasions
-The cameras are great, but need new tripods
-With the upgrade to G5’s and FCP editing, SCAT is fully up to
date for serious editors
-Tripods are a bit dismal
