Request for for a Single Program

Any Somerville resident may bring in a program for cablecast on SCAT if they have the permission to do so from the show's producer. The Somerville resident must 1) bring in the show on DVD-R, 2) show a SCAT staff member proof of their residency in Somerville by bringing in a photo ID and an official piece of mail that was sent to their Somerville Address, and 3) take legal responsibility for the content of the program by signing a Cablecast Request Form as the show's sponsor. The SCAT Programming Coordinator will schedule the program in an available time slot.

Request for a Series Timeslot

Any Somerville resident may request a regular timeslot for a series program that they produce or that they wish to sponsor. The Somerville resident must 1) bring in at least three completed shows on DVD-R, 2) show a SCAT staff member proof of their residency in Somerville by bringing in a photo ID and an official piece of mail that was sent to their Somerville address, 3) take legal responsibility for the content of the program by signing a Series Request Form and 4) submit at least one new program each month. The SCAT Programming Coordinator will schedule the program according to the priorities delineated in the SCAT's Policies. The program schedule is reworked annually. Sponsors must resubmit their Series Request each year.
