Through SCAT, you can learn more about your city, your neighbors, and yourself. SCAT members' meetings, special events, and volunteer shoots offer many opportunities to meet other SCAT members and share project ideas.

Equipment Member
Any Somerville resident may join SCAT as an Equipment Member and receive the following benefits:

Individual: $40/ year
Senior (65+) or Youth (under 18): $20/ year

Organizational Member
Any organization that is based in Somerville, including a Somerville chapter of any state or national organization, is welcome to become a member of SCAT. Organizational membership includes the following:

Includes two organizational representatives: $100/ year
Each additional organizational representative: $40/ year

Local organizations may choose to sign up as a Community Partner. See below.

Contributing Member
A Contributing Member gives an annual donation to help SCAT continue its work. Anyone may join SCAT as a Contributing Member and will receive SCAT Facts, our quarterly newsletter.

Minimum donation: $40/ year for an individual, $100/year for an organization.

To Learn More About SCAT. . .
Interested in finding out how public access works and how to produce your own television shows for Somerville's Channel 3? Attend one of our hour-long orientations. The session is free and open to the public. Attendance is required for all new SCAT members. An orientation is held on schedule Saturdays at noon and weekday evenings at 7:00pm. See current dates.
